Regional Mobility Plan

A long-range (20+year) vision, strategy, and capital improvement program that guides the investment of public funds in transportation facilities. The plan is developed by an MPO (CRTPA) and contains a financial plan. It is updated every five years and may be amended as a result of changes in available funding and findings from local studies.

Connections 2040 Regional Mobility Plan

The Connections 2040 RMP is the long range transportation plan for the region that addresses road, bike, pedestrian, transit, airport, freight and other transportation opportunities in the four county area (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Wakulla counties).

Gadsden County Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Master Plan
Date: 08/21/2012

Project was adopted by Gadsden County on August 21, 2012. The Plan outlines projects that Gadsden County is interested in pursuing locally and through the CRTPA planning process. Jefferson County Bicycle, Pedestrian and Master Plan

Wakulla County Bicycle, Pedestrian and Blueways Master Plan
Date: 07/17/2012

Project was adopted by Wakulla County on July 17, 2012.The Plan outlines projects that Wakulla County is interested in pursuing locally and through the CRTPA planning process.

Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

A listing/program of transportation projects covering a period of five years that is developed and formally adopted by an MPO (CRTPA) as part of the metropolitan transportation planning process, consistent with the metropolitan transportation plan (LRTP), and required for projects to be eligible for funding from the Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration.

The CRTPA's Interactive TIP allows users to see all the projects on a map that are currently funded within the agency's most recent TIP.

The CRTPA FY 2019 - FY 2023 TIP was adopted at the June 18, 2018 CRTPA meeting and most recently amended on June 17. Public meetings to present the document were held throughout the CRTPA on May 23 & May 24 prior to adoption.

FY 2018 – FY 2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The TIP was adopted at the June 19, 2017 CRTPA meeting and most recently amended at the February 20, 2018 CRTPA meeting and administratively amended in June 2018.

FY 2017 – FY 2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The TIP was adopted at the June 20, 2016 CRTPA meeting and most recently administratively amended in July 2017.

FY 2024 – FY 2028 Transportation Project Priority Lists

The FY 2024 – FY 2028 Priority Project Lists were adopted at the May 17, 2022, CRTPA Meeting. 

FY 2023 – FY 2027 Transportation Project Priority Lists

The FY 2023 - FY 2027 Priority Project Lists were adopted at the June 15, 2021 CRTPA Meeting (with the exception of the Transportation Alternatives Project Priority List which was adopted on May 18 and the Roadway Project Priority List which was revised on September 13). Meetings to present the lists to the public were held throughout the CRTPA region prior to adoption.

FY 2022 – FY 2026 Transportation Priority Project Lists

The FY 2022 - FY 2026 Priority Project Lists were adopted at the September 21, 2020 CRTPA Meeting. Virtual public meetings to present the lists to the public were held on May 27 & August 5.

FY 2021 – FY 2025 CRTPA Transportation Priority Project Lists

The FY 2021 - FY 2025 Priority Project Lists were adopted at the June 17, 2019 CRTPA Meeting (with the exception of the Transportation Alternatives Priority Project List which was adopted on April 16). Meetings to present the lists to the public were held throughout the CRTPA region prior to adoption.

FY 2020 – FY 2024 CRTPA Transportation Priority Project Lists

The FY 2020 - FY 2024 PPLs were adopted at the June 18, 2018 CRTPA Meeting (with the exception of the Transportation Alternatives & Transportation Regional Incentive Program which were adopted at the March 19 meeting). On September 18, 2018, the CRTPA revised the Transportation Systems Management (TSM) and Tallahassee International Airport priority project lists.

Fiscal Years 2020/21 – 2021/22 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)

The CRTPA Governing Board adopted the Fiscal Years 2020/21 and 2021/22 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) at the May 19, 2020 meeting. Under federal planning guidelines, the CRTPA is required to develop a work plan that details the transportation planning work program, priorities and projects for the four-county Capital Region. This document serves to define activities for the public as well as public officials and agencies that contribute manpower and allocate funds to the transportation planning process and activities. In addition to establishing the planning work and resulting products, the UPWP details who will perform the work, time frames for completing the activities, the work program costs and funding sources.
