Southwest Area Transportation Plan Open House

The Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) and Blueprint will be hosting an Open House to provide citizens a final opportunity to comment on the Southwest Area Transportation Plan (SATP) before it is presented to the CRTPA Board on September 16, 2019.  Questions, comments, suggestions on the Lake Bradford Road corridor (both North and South), Springhill Road, and Orange Avenue are welcome. The meeting will be held in the  Pineview Elementary School (2230 Lake Bradford Road) cafeteria on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

To date we have received comments including:

  • Transit Access
  • Slowing traffic down
  • Potential intersection improvements
  • Safe crossings for students
  • Maintaining water quality
  • Access management
  • Wayfinding signs
  • Neighborhood connectivity
  • Traffic noise
  • Traffic calming
  • Roadway widening
