Southwest Area Transportation Plan – June 28 Public Meeting

A pubic meeting for Phase 1 of the Southwest Area Transportation Plan (SATP) has been scheduled for Thursday, June 28 (6 pm to 7:30 pm) at the DR BL Perry Jr Branch Library (2817 S. Adams St., Tallahassee).    The purpose of the SATP is to develop complimentary and cohesive corridor plans that enhance safety, mobility, and connectivity in the southwest area of Tallahassee, while preserving the character of the existing neighborhoods and environmental features through data analysis and public/stakeholder involvement.  Phase 1 of the project addresses the Orange Avenue corridor from Monroe Street to Capital Circle, Southwest.  A newsletter providing more information on the meeting and project may be found by clicking here.
