An open house style meeting at the Hazel Baker Community Center (Havana) has been scheduled to discuss the Tallahassee to Havana Trail project. The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to learn about the project and provide input.
The Tallahassee to Havana Trail project proposes providing a shared use path connection for bicyclists and pedestrians between the existing Orchard Pond Greenway (in northwestern Leon County) to Salem Road (in Havana, Gadsden County). A meeting flyer has been developed to provide more details on the trail.
The feasibility study for the project was adopted by the CRTPA in 2022 and more information can be found on the project page.
