The Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) will host a series of meetings (both in-person and virtual) to provide the public the opportunity to learn about the transportation projects in the CRTPA region (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, and Wakulla counties) that have received funding, as well as the agency’s proposed project priorities. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 – FY 2030 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) and FY 2027 – FY 2031 Project Priority Lists (PPLs) are scheduled to be adopted at the June 16, 2025, CRTPA Board meeting.
The meetings will focus on the transportation projects in the CRTPA region (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon and Wakulla counties) that have received funding, as well as the agency’s proposed project priorities for the region. The following provides a background on the TIP and PPLs:
- The TIP identifies transportation projects (including roadway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and aviation) located within the Capital Region that have received mostly state and federal funding. To view and comment on funded projects visit the CRTPA’s Interactive Tip Tool.
- The PPLs are adopted annually and identify the agency’s regional transportation priorities for projects seeking state and federal funds.
