Public Meetings to Present the CRTPA’s Transportation Plans & Programs Held in June

The Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA) hosted a series of meetings (both in-person and virtual) to provide the public the opportunity to learn about the transportation projects in the CRTPA region (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, and Wakulla counties) that have received funding, as well as the agency’s proposed project priorities. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 – FY 2029 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) and FY 2026 – FY 2030 Project Priority Lists (PPLs) are scheduled to be adopted at the June 17, 2024, CRTPA Board meeting.

The meetings focused on the transportation projects in the CRTPA region (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon and Wakulla counties) that have received funding, as well as the agency’s proposed project priorities for the region.  The following provides a background on the TIP and PPLs:

  • The TIP identifies transportation projects (including roadway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and aviation) located within the Capital Region that have received mostly state and federal funding.
  • The PPLs are adopted annually and identify the agency’s regional transportation priorities for projects seeking state and federal funds.
