An environmental impact & alternatives study has been initiated for the Leon County segment of the Tallahassee to Havana Trail/Orchard Pond Greenway.  The feasibility study for the trail was approved by the CRTPA in 2022 and evaluated a multi-use trail connection between Tallahassee and Havana.  Subsequent to the feasibility study’s approval, SUN Trails competitive grant funding to initiate project implementation was applied for by the CRTPA. In late 2024, the CRTPA was notified that SUN Trails funding for a PD&E Study for the Leon County segment was awarded.
