MEETING OF MONDAY, MARCH 18, 2024 AT 1:30 PM

Citizens wishing to provide input at the CRTPA meeting may:

  • Provide comments in person at the meeting. Speakers are requested to fill out a speaker’s card located inside Commission Chambers when they arrive at the meeting and limit their comments to three (3) minutes; or
  • Submit written comments prior to the meeting at https://crtpa.org/contact-us/ by providing comments in the “Email Us” portion of the page before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15. This will allow time for comments to be provided to CRTPA members in advance of the meeting. Comments submitted after this time (up to the time of the meeting) will be accepted and included in the official record of the meeting; or
  • Provide live comments during the meeting virtually by registering before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15 at https://crtpa.org/contact-us/ and noting your desire to provide comments via video in the “Email Us” portion of the page along with the agenda item or issue your wish to discuss. You will be contacted by CRTPA staff and provided with a link to virtually access the meeting and provide your comment during the meeting. Speakers are requested to limit their comments to three (3) minutes.

      This item seeks Board adoption of an amendment to the FY 2024– FY 2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to include the following project:

      • SR 20 (Deer Tree Drive to east of Smitt’s Way) (Project No. 454441-1): Provide $29,710 in funding in FY 24 for lighting improvement (Leon County)

       

  7. CRTPA Action

    The public is welcome to comment on any discussion item after a motion has been made and seconded.  Each member of the public is provided three (3) minutes to address the CRTPA.

    1. CRTPA Year 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Consultant Selection Agenda Item

      This item seeks CRTPA Board selection of a consultant for the Year 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan.

       

    2. CRTPA Regional Freight StudyAgenda Item

      This item seeks approval of the CRTPA Regional Freight Study that has been developed.   Presentation

       

    3. Congestion Management Plan (CMP)Agenda Item

      Development of the CRTPA’s CMP evaluating congestion and safety in the CRTPA has been completed for Board approval.    Presentation

       

    4. Town of Havana Resolution of SupportAgenda Item

      This item seeks approval of a resolution to the Florida Department of Transportation related to the CRTPA’s support of the Town of Havana’s desire to reduce the lanes of US 27 through downtown Havana. The item was initially considered at the November 21, 2023, CRTPA meeting with members requesting the item be brought back after further discussion with the Town.
