The CRTPA adopted the agency’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Project Priority Lists (PPLs) on June 19, 2023. Public meetings (virtual and in-person) were conducted on May 31 & June 1 to provide the public the opportunity to learn about the transportation projects in the CRTPA Capital Region (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, and Wakulla counties). Specifically, the meetings discussed the CRTPA’s FY 24 – FY 28 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Project Priority Lists (PPLs) that are scheduled to be adopted at the June 19 CRTPA meeting.
The following provides a background on the TIP and PPLs:
- The TIP identifies transportation projects (including roadway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and aviation) located within the Capital Region that have received mostly state and federal funding.
- The PPLs are adopted annually and identify the agency’s regional transportation priorities for projects seeking state and federal funds.
