The Connections 2040 RMP is the long range transportation plan for the region that addresses road, bike, pedestrian, transit, airport, freight and other transportation opportunities in the four county area (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Wakulla counties).

The project kicked off in March of 2014 and was adopted in November 2015.
